Personal software

Describe the work. Keep the app.

KolHive turns a specific workflow into software you can reopen and improve. You explain the job in ordinary language; the result lives in your workspace with the files, data, and permissions it needs.

Plain languageDescribe the outcome instead of learning a development stack.
PersistentThe app remains in your workspace after the conversation ends.
ConnectedUse workspace files and app data under explicit permissions.
Cross-deviceContinue the same workspace from desktop, mobile, or web.

Software for the workflows products overlook

Many useful tools are too specific for a mass-market product and too small for a conventional software project. KolHive gives those workflows a durable home.

Replace the fragile spreadsheet

Turn a tracker whose rules live in one person's memory into an app with clear fields, views, and reusable behavior.

Build around the way you already work

Start with the real process, terminology, and source files instead of reshaping the work around somebody else's template.

Improve it after using it

Real requirements appear during real use. Describe what should change while keeping the workspace and its history intact.

Share only when the work becomes shared

Keep a personal tool private, or give selected people and spaces access through the same permission model.

What makes the result an app instead of an answer

A useful answer explains what to do. A useful app gives the process a stable interface, state, and place to continue.

Its own working state

Records created by the app remain available when you return instead of disappearing into a chat transcript.

A place in the workspace

Find and reopen the app beside the files and other tools connected to the same work.

Clear boundaries

File and tool access is permissioned rather than silently inherited from the whole workspace.

A path across screens

Begin in the browser and continue through native desktop and mobile apps when downloads are released.

From explanation to working app

Describe the job

Explain what you need to track, see, or repeat in the language you naturally use for the work.

Review the result

Use the generated app with representative information and check that it reflects the actual process.

Ask for changes

Refine the screens, rules, and flow in plain language as the real requirements become clear.

Keep using it

Reopen the app from the workspace and share it only with the people who should take part.

Questions about personal software

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The product experience is based on describing the work and reviewing the app, not editing source code.

Does the app disappear when the chat closes?

No. The intended result is a persisted app in your workspace, not a temporary preview inside a conversation.

Can an app use my files?

It can use workspace material you authorize. File and tool access follows explicit permissions rather than unrestricted access.

Can I use KolHive now?

KolHive has not launched publicly yet. Web, desktop, and mobile access will open at launch, and the download pages currently offer launch updates.

Be first when KolHive opens.

Public access for web, desktop, and mobile is coming soon. Join the launch list and we will let you know when the workspace opens.
